Detailed below are the Standard Terms of Engagement for Clients of rma
 
Legal Status:
rma is the trading name of RM Adjusting Limited, registered office Church House, 102 Pendlebury Road, Swinton, Manchester, M27 4BF, Company No: 04195310.

Services:
rma provide services as Loss Adjusters in accordance with these terms and conditions which shall apply unless amended in writing.

All necessary items of equipment will be supplied by rma and the normal place of work will be rma’s business premises.

Charges and Expenses:
Fees for professional staff will be calculated in accordance with our standard fee scale, a copy of which is available upon request. A time incurred basis (including travelling time) at an agreed hourly rate can be agreed if required. This rate will be eemed to include the time of the loss adjuster, office overheads, motor vehicle running costs and mileage.

In addition the Client will be charged, at cost, for disbursements and any other direct costs where required.

Where applicable, VAT will be charged at the current rate on all fees and disbursements.

Invoices will be issued upon completion of the assignment. Interim fees may also be raised at six monthly intervals for live files. All fees are payable within 30 days of the date of the invoice. rma reserve the right to charge interest at the rate of 5% above the Bank of England base rate on any overdue invoices and suspend services until the invoice has been settled in full.

Intellectual Property:
All information and reports provided by rma are intended for the sole use of the Client. The copyright and intellectual property contained within the material supplied will remain the property of rma.

Exclusion of Liability:
rma will take all reasonable care in fulfilling its obligations and will not be liable to the Client for any direct or indirect loss, expense or damage unless due to the negligence of rma.

rma
maintains Professional Indemnity Insurance with a Limit of Indemnity of £2m.

Jurisdiction:
This agreement should be construed in accordance with English Law.
