RMA Fantasy Football Winner!

Congratulations to Gary Sell of Marsh Brokers in winning the RMA Fantasy Footy League for 09/10. Gary won the first Manager of the Month award and was consistent throughout the season making great use of his transfers to come top in a hotly contested league. Well done Gary.

RMA are running a fantasy football league for employees and Clients. It's early days yet but, the bar has been set very high, with the early leader Gary Sell from HSBC storming ahead. It's a marathon not a sprint and the rest of us hope to reel Gary in over the next few weeks. Goodwood Revival

RMA are hosting a table at the Goodwood Revival on 19th September 2009. it promises to be a great day, evoking the spirit of motor racing from the 1950's and 1960's. More news and pictures to follow.

Trailwalker - We did it!

The RMA team enjoyed, or is that endured, the Oxfam Trailwalker, a walk of 62 miles along the South finishing at Brighton Racecourse. The team finished 306th out of 446, in 26 hours 58 minutes.

At the end we were like a bunch of old men, hobbling along and nursing our injuries. There were blisters on little toes, a hamstring pull which turned out to be an illiotibial band problem, knee twinges, groin strains. You name it, we had it. However, the support and attention from our fantastic support team got us through. We have raised loads of money for Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust, so thanks to all who have donated. The Oxfam Trailwalker event is here.

Over the weekend 18^th/19^th July 2009, the team of RMA Loss Adjusters, Steve Abrahams, Neil Robbie, Matthew Brook and Paul Harcourt will be walking 100 km along the South Downs Way from Petersfield in Hampshire to Brighton. The walk must be completed by the team within 30 hours and more information can be found at:

As if the Oxfam Trailwalk wasn't enough, Neil will be getting some more exercise by way of training for the London Marathon which is on 26th April 2009. More information to follow....

2nd December 2008 Neil Robbie, Steve Abrahams, Matthew Brook and Paul Harcourt have entered the Oxfam Trailwalkers hike, to be held on 18th and 19th July 2008.
The hike comprises a 100km walk across the South Downs to Brighton.
And is a non-stop event lasting a maximum of 30 hours.

We will also enlist a back up crew to provide provisions, support, plasters and tissues for the tears of joy when we finish.
